Not the best experience. Disappointing stay as this Courtyard is not consistent with Courtyard international standards. No executive lounge for top tier members. TV remote control only has up/down buttons so you have to scroll through 40+ channels. No sleep timer. No US news channels even though the guide says they have CNN. Shower is old style within a high-side tub that's difficult to get in and out of without slipping. Bursts of cold water when showering. As a Titanium member, they said I was upgraded, however the room was across for the elevator so I had to listen to noisy people coming and going all night. Had a second stay already booked which, of course, I cancelled.. .

Great hotel centrally located in Seoul. This is an excellent hotel that is centrally located next to Namdaemun Market. Rooms are decently sized for 2 people. The shower is kind of strange because it has a glass wall so you can see someone showering from the bed. There is a weight room with lots of free weights and cardio machines. The breakfast buffet is excellent with a great selection.. .

Home away from home… as always!. Arrived late morning on Airport bus limo 6005, alighted in front of Fraser Place. Fortunately room was ready! Hotel is within walking distance to Myeongdong, opp Namdemun Market. Check in was swift and as always, not a hair out of place. As for certain amenities, I am glad Courtyard is moving in the right direction. Winter visit so tub was a total waste (boo hu hu!), shower … you could dance in it! Bedding etc was pretty comfy! Housekeeping dept is as always spot on!
Breakfast - Momo Cafe still is maintaining its high standard, both international and local spread. Not enough, Seoul certainly has lots to offer, especially opp the hotel! And behind the hotel, many more eateries to explore!
A pity, Level 22 is closed permanently. Regulars will know that The EL was certainly a place to hang out during evening cocktails and canapes!
Business or pleasure, I highly recommend Courtyard Namdaemun. One final note — The associates ARE the heartbeat of the hotel! I am never disappointed whenever we visit this property!. .

Good stay for 5 nights.. Location, tower view room and luxury are the major pluses.. The make up room option was not effective as the bed linens and robes were not cleaned adequately.
The breakfast buffet should have more vegetarian options and should be changed at-least for alternative days..

Great place to stay near this area. Great place to stay overall. It is located near Namdaemun Market. Walk few blocks and you’ll reach either city hall or Myeongdong. Subway stations are also located within the vicinity. The service was excellent and the staff were friendly. Bonus treat was to always see the N Seoul Tower from our room’s window.. .
