Short stay in Seoul. It’s a great hotel in Dongdaemun. The location is fine even though not directly in the main areas. You can walk from here easily to the historical sites. There are shopping malls across from the hotel, so you can easily access those if needed.
The room was comfortable and what you’d expect from a JW Marriott. It’s a great, comfortable, dependable, contemporary hotel.
Staff is polite and engaged. Exemplary service from Ben at the front desk/concierge guiding us to nearby locations and transport.
I’d recommend this hotel enthusiastically to others.. .

Best JW Marriott in Seoul. This hotel was the best of our trip and hands down the best Marriott we've stayed in! Stayed in itaewon for 3 days and had intended to leave but decided to go to Seoul for a day but ended up stay 3 nights and sad we had to leave! For starters the hotel is centrally located to a lot of stores, restaurants and a mall. The hotel has a beautiful lobby with a restaurant that had a strawberry theme for all the food. Very clean and great staff that even gave us an upgrade with a welcome gift as we were celebrating our anniversary. Our room faced the city that was pretty nice. The room was controlled by a tablet near the bed which was pretty cool. It controlled the Tv, lights and curtains. The bed was very comfortable and clean. The bathroom had a tub and separate shower with extra amenities. The room does come stocked with drinks and snacks (extra fee) glass ware for wine also. The fitness center was the biggest I've seen in a hotel by far. Every piece of equipment you'd need including weight bench and weights. Next the restaurant Tavolo served a buffet breakfast every morning that was a super variety of fruits, breads, cereals, pastries, meats, rice, pho, omelets made to order and coffee machine. Best breakfast by far! This hotel does have a M Club lounge for ( platinum and above) that was sooo nice. There was desserts, fruits, cheeses, meats and area where you can make your cocktail or wine. Theres also a balcony to sit or stand outside with a nice view of the city especially at night. The ladies in the lounge were very nice and attentive to our needs, even making our drinks;) Last but not least on the top floor was The Griffin restaurant/bar. They had a live performance and the drinks were very good. A real nice date night spot!. .
