Pleasant. The room was a tad small. The lighting was a little annoying - the light at the door was connected to a motion sensor which flicked off too quickly and needed constant movement to have it stay on 😅. The location was fantastic - near two subway stations and 5min walk to Myeongdong main shopping and food streets.. .

Excellent, comfortable hotel in great location!. We stayed here as a family with two young children and booked two rooms. This hotel exceeded my expectations.
LOCATION
- This hotel is located an easy 5 minute walk to the subway and is near many tourist attractions (Gyeongbokgung Palace, Insadong, Korean Folk Art Museum, Namdaemun market, etc).
- It is far enough away from the bustle and noise of Myeongdong proper, though, so despite minor street noise, it is pretty quiet at night. However, Myeongdong is an easy 10 minute walk away for those looking to experience the shopping and entertainment there.
- 7-11 on the first floor of the building is handy.
- Plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby.
ACCOMMODATIONS
- Rooms are typical of an Asian city hotel, on the small side, but my twin room worked well in terms of size for me and my child and three suitcases.
- The rooms are clean, modern, and comfortable. Great blackout curtains. Very comfortable beds, bedding and pillows. Showers with good water pressure.
- Rooms are quiet with no noise coming from other rooms.
- Modern lighting system in each room.
- The thermostat works GREAT. My husband likes keeping the room chilled at 19 C and this was easy to set on the thermostat.
- Water refill stations are available on every other floor.
- Laundry facilities in house (4 washers and dryers) with a money changing machine to pay for the washer and dryer and soap.
- Nice gym with cardio and weights.
SERVICE
- Extremely helpful and responsive staff. We were able to have the hotel tech turn off the automatic night light sensor promptly when requested. The front desk helped arrange taxi transportation with no problems. When I needed more towels, they were delivered within five minutes.
- English speaking front desk and concierge made staying here very easy.
Our room package included breakfast at C Cafe daily. The buffet is nice with both Korean and western options. It was noted that many of the guests are from all parts of the world, and the level of etiquette/manners of other guests dining at the buffet was variable. The table and cooking staff here were excellent and professional. They were quick to refill the food trays and take away used plates.
One other downside is the lift/elevators get busy during peak hours and so during check in and check out times, one may find themselves waiting 10 minutes to get on the elevator. This was only an issue for us the last morning we were there at checkout.
I would highly recommend this hotel for a traveler looking for a nice, clean, good value experience. It is not full service (no bell hop, no valet, no spa, etc) hotel but delivers the essentials really well.. .
