Great location.. I stayed for 7 nights in October 2023 and returned to stay 8 nights in June 2024 with my daughter and my sister and nice who booked a separate room. I am Korean living in the states and typically stay in the brand name international chain hotels when visiting Seoul and I was not sure what to expect from Lotte City Hotel Mapo which is considered "Business Hotel." This hotel gave me the feeling of the local living with access to everything so close to the hotel... sauna, good foods, metro, walk path without the frenzy of city. My daughter loved the location and she is going back in September. Don't expect 5 start amenities because it's not. But, it's a perfect location for those who wants to experience the local vibe away from Gang Nam, Myung Dong, Jong Ro and other tourist areas. The rooms may need some updates but it's a good value for the money.. .
